St Marys Church

I visited St Mary's Church to gain inspiration for my project by looking at the architecture and the churches surroundings. I did this to get a sense of what it might of been like for Estella to live in a place that has similar characteristics to the church and the church grounds. There were grand carvings in the walls of the church, iron railings, old trees and a clock all of which I imagine to be present at the home of Miss Havisham. As you can see it was a cold winters day when I visited the church which added to the mysteriousness of the place a long with the fact I was the only person there most of the time.
