Winchester

These are some photographs from outside the cathedral.

I took these photographs of the Cathedral from being the railing and trees to try and make it look more mysterious and Gothic.

Inside the Cathedral.

These photographs are of monuments inside the Cathedral of people who lived and died during the Victorian era.

This is outside the Cathedral and is in memory of a man who helped the Cathedral. He lived during the Victorian era and help the Cathedral between 1906-1911 a few years after the Victorians. I thought the statue was a good way to show gratitude to someone who had done a lot for the cathedral. Although the monument was made after the Victorian times the way that the man's death and the actions in his life were being remembered and marked was very much something the Victorians would have done.
